JR’s Gourmet started in 2014 first under the name JRs Gourmet Desserts & Catering. It was created by at the time 14-year-old Juwan Rice who would later be known as Chef JR. He started JRs gourmet because he found a love and passion for food and creating an experience for others. He got his love and passion from his grandmother at a young age. “She always put so much love and effort into creating a meal for our family. And I wanted to provide that same experience for others.” Rice says.

The journey for JR’s Gourmet has been fast yet steady. since starting, JR’s Gourmet has been recognized across the Midwest for becoming such an iconic brand. “I wanted this company to be one that people thought of when they wanted an experience like no other!”.

Providing Experiences across Saint Louis is what JR’s Gourmet has been able to do in the last few years. Whether it’s a dinner party hosted by us, or a corporate company that needs to provide a food experience for their staff, JR’s Gourmet has been able to do it all!
